On the 13th of July, Tuesday, the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Government is scheduled to conduct a Cabinet meeting.
The meeting is scheduled by K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, to discuss the ongoing second wave of the Wuhan virus, also known as Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19.) The TRS ministers, Health Department officials and senior leaders would attend the meeting scheduled at 2:00 P.M., at Pragati Bhavan, Hyderabad.
In addition to the COVID-19 situation, vaccination drive and hospitals’ facilities, the State Government would also discuss the welfare schemes, the agriculture sector growth, the Palle and Pattana Pragathi programmes and other issues in Telangana.
It is also expected that the K. Chandrashekar Government would lift the lockdown completely in the State, including opening of theatres, schools and other educational institutions. However an official announcement regarding the same would be taken after the meeting.
Meanwhile, with 729 fresh COVID-19 cases, Telangana now has 6,30,514 positive cases, of which 10,942 are active cases, 6,15,852 are recovered/discharged cases and 3,720 are deceased cases.
