Etala Rajender, the Health Minister of Telangana, on the 5th of January, is said to take the first dose the vaccine of the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19.
Mr. Rajender is likely to take the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine in Telangana to bring awareness among the citizens.
The Telangana Health Department led by the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) is also going to conduct a dry run in 1,200 centres in the State.
In regard to this, the Telangana Health officials conducted a meeting and discussed the storage of the vaccine, administration and software usage.
Meanwhile, on the 4th of January, the Hyderabad based Bharat Biotech International Private Limited pharma company, dispatched the first batch of COVAXIN, the made in India, vaccine for COVID-19.
With this, by May 2021, the Nation is likely to get a vaccine for the deadly Novel Coronavirus virus.
