Telangana Recovery Rate At 97.82 % With 10,064 Active Cases

In the past 24 hours, Telangana reported 767 new cases of the Wuhan virus, also known as the Novel Coronavirus. After reporting below 500 cases on the 11th of July, the State reported more than 500 COVID-19 for the two consecutive days.

Compared to the 12th of July, the next day, (13th of July) Telangana reported 71 more cases. On the 12th of July, Telangana reported 696 single day Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases.

On the 13th of July, the Telangana Health Ministry released a media bulletin and update about the COVID-19 situation in the State. As per the media bulletin, Telangana reported 767 new cases, 3 fatalities and 848 recoveries in the past 24 hours.

The new cases were confirmed after conducting COVID-19 tests of 1.18 lakh samples, taking the cumulative total to 1.99 crores till date. Compared to the 12th of July COVID-19 data, the State reported an increase in single day cases, deaths and decrease in recovery cases.

However, it is to be noted, the State is constantly reporting below 1,000 cases, especially after the Telangana GovernmentTelangana Government imposed a strict lockdown.

With this, Telangana now has 6,33,146 positive cases, of which 10,064 are active cases, 6,19,344 are recovered/discharged cases and 3,738 are deceased cases.

In Telangana, instead of the regions of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC,) on Wednesday, Khamman reported the highest number of cases with 84 cases, followed by the GHMC with 77 cases.

With this, the recovery rate of Telangana improved to 97.82% from the previous 97.80 % recovery rate. In addition, the fatality rate of COVID-19 remains stable at 0.58 %.

Meanwhile, compared to the previous 48 containment zones, there are 35 active containment zones in Telangana.  containment zones in Telangana.  

In addition, the Telangana Director of Health and Public Welfare G. Srinivasa, urged people to take caution and follow all the guidelines of COVID-19.
