The Telugu State of Telangana is witnessing a decline in the Wuhan virus, also known as the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19.)
On the evening of the 18th of February, Friday, the Telangana Health Department confirmed 425 new Wuhan virus cases, 0 death and 1,060 recovered/discharged cases. The cases were reported after conducting 41,042 Wuhan virus samples tested in the past 24 hours, taking the cumulative tally to over 3 crores.
Meanwhile, of the total new 425 cases, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) reported 130 new cases, followed by Rangareddy with 29 cases and 28 from Medical Malkajgiri cases.
With this, Telangana has 7,86,021 positive cases, of which 7,75,802 are recovered/discharged cases, 4,108 death cases and 6,111 are active cases. The case fatality rate in the state was 0.52%. The recovery rate in Telangana was 98.70%.
