On Monday, the 15th of November, Telangana reported 148 new cases of the Wuhan virus, also known as the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19.) The new cases came a day after the State witnessed the lowest number of single day Wuhan virus cases in the past 2 months, which is 105.
Besides 148 new cases, the State witnessed 2 deaths and 151 recoveries.
The new cases were confirmed by conducting 34,778 sample tests for the COVID-19 infection. With the tests conducted in the past 24 hours, the State Health Department conducted 2.80 crores COVID-19 tests till date.
The aforementioned data was confirmed through a health bulletin, released by the Telangana Health Department, on a regular basis. The media bulletin of the State Health Department which is being released in the evenings regularly, updates about the COVID-19 situation in Telangana.
According to the COVID-19 data, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC,) is the only area, which reports 50 or more than 50 cases regularly. Yesterday the GHMC limit reported 50 new COVID-19 cases.
With this, Telangana now has 6,73,722 positive cases, of which 3,735 are active cases, 6,66,012 are recovered/discharged cases and 3,975 are deceased.
The recovery rate of Telangana is at 98.85% and the fatality rate of COVID-19 remained constant for the past five months at 0.58 %.
