On Friday, the 5th of November, Telangana reported 151 new cases with two deaths and 190 recoveries. The new cases were confirmed by conducting 33,226 sample tests for the COVID-19 infection. It has been a week that the number of tests decreased from the usual 45,000 tests a day to 37,000 to 38,000.
With the tests conducted in the past 24 hours, the State Health Department crossed 2.77 crore COVID-19 tests till date.
The aforementioned data was confirmed through a health bulletin, released by the Telangana Health Department, on a regular basis. The media bulletin of the State Health Department which is being released in the evenings regularly, updates about the COVID-19 situation in Telangana.
According to the COVID-19 data, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC,) region for the first time since April, recorded below 50 new Euhan virus cases. Of all the other regions of Telangana, the GHMC limit is the only, which reports more than 50 cases regularly.
With this, Telangana now has 6,72,203 positive cases, of which 3,963 are active cases, 6,64,402 are recovered/discharged cases and 3,963 are deceased.
The recovery rate of Telangana also increased to 98.83 % from the previous 98.81 %. However, the fatality rate of COVID-19 remained constant for the past five months at 0.58 %.
