On the 13th of July, the Telangana Rashtra Something (TRS) Government announced an annual calendar for government jobs.
The decision was taken by K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, during the State Cabinet meeting. During the meeting all the ministers and senior leaders unanimously approved the annual job calendar. With this, the vacant posts and jobs would be made public to people, who could apply for the position. In each department, nearly 50,000 job vacancies would be filled.
In regard to this matter, the Cabinet would conduct a meeting again today, the 14th of July and plan further action. The meeting would be attended by the secretaries of all the ministries and government departments with all the information and data regarding the vacant posts.
Besides the calendar launch, the Cabinet also decided to give 50 % reservation to local students in the residential schools in Telangana constituencies. The decision was taken to improve residential education, giving priority to local students.
The TRS Government also decided to conduct a monthly meeting regarding the same and directed the concerned officials to look into the matter.
Concerned about the health department and COVID-19 situation in Telangana, the TRS Government asked officials to submit a report based on their tour.
The meeting was held at Pragathi Bhavan at 2:00 P.M., on the 13th of July and lasted for 7 hours.
