Mumbai: Bollywood actor Saeed Jaffrey passed away. He was 86. Not just Bollywood, the veteran actor also performed in British movies. His niece Shaheen, On Facebook wrote, “Today, a generation of Jaffreys has passed away. Saeed Jaffrey has joined his brothers and sister and is rejoicing in the lap of his Heavenly Father, eternally.”

Saeed Jaffrey bagged several roles and also scored many hits in his film career. His movies include – “Gandhi”, “Ram Teri Ganga Maili”, “Shatranj Ke Khiladi”, “Dil” and others. He was the first Indian to receive the Order of the British Empire or OBE.
Saeed was married to actress-author Madhur Jaffrey. The couple was also blessed with three children. The couple parted ways in in 1965 and later in 1980, he married casting director Jennifer Sorrell.
