Bengaluru: Actress Prema filed for divorce with her husband Jeevan Appachchu. On Wednesday, she moved to the family court seeking separation from her husband under the Hindu Marriage Act Section 13(D). Prema stated that Jeevan had consented to their separation and now the court will hear the petitioners and refer the matter to the counselling centre.
The actress made her debut with ‘Savyasachi” alongside Shivaraj Kumar in Kannada film industry. In 2006, she married Jeevan Appachchu, a software industrialist. It is heard that the couple were living separately for the past few years due to issues.
