Chennai: Actress Sandhya tied the knot with Venkat Chandrasekharan, a owner of a Chennai based IT company, on Sunday morning. The couple entered the wed-lock in Guruvayoor temple in Kerala. Earlier, the wedding was planned in Chennai, but due to heavy rainfall and floods, the venue was shifted to the temple in Kerala. The wedding ceremony was a simple affair. Family members, relatives and close friends of the couple graced the occasion and blessed the couple.
The couple is expected to host a grand wedding reception in Chennai when the city comes back to normalcy. The actress made her debut in 2004 with Tamil film “Kaadhal“. She received a Tamil Nadu State Film Award for her brilliant performance in the flick. She acted in more than 40 films and became a noted star in the industry.
