Akhil-Shriya Wedding Called off

Splitsville seems to be an underlying theme in the film industry. We often hear news of love birds splitting up or getting divorced. The latest trouble in the paradise is for the Akkineni young child Akhil Akkineni and G.V.K. Reddy’s granddaughter Shriya Bhupal. The two got engaged in a private event last year December. Sadly the love didn’t last for long and the two have called off their wedding.
Akhil and Shriya Engagement

Akhil and Shriya had been dating for almost two years before they got engaged last December. Akhil has recently made his debut in Tollywood with his film “Akhil  – the Power of Jua” while Shriya is a famous designer, having been designed outfits fro top heroines in both Bollywood and Tollywood. All arrangements for the grand event were in place with a destination wedding scheduled to take place in May this year in Rome. But to everyone’s surprise and shock, they are no longer together. The couple were also seen together attending Akhil’s elder brother, Naga Chaitanya’s engagement with the sizzling star Samatha Ruth Prabhu that took place in Hyderabad on 29th January 2017.

“Messages went out last Saturday to guests to cancel their programme. No reason was given. Those who were about to book tickets were advised not to go ahead. Even the tickets booked by both families have been cancelled,” a source told the media, “It was a last minute decision. All was well until last week.” Meanwhile, Nagarjuna and GVK Reddy’s families have also went ahead in cancelling the reservations made for travel, resorts and arrangements at the venue. Still no reason or official confirmation has been given about the split but it is rumoured to be a true news. We hope that the two families find solace at this time and can reconcile their differences.
