In the early hours on Monday, the hashtag KCR Failed Telangana started trending on twitter. This hashtag started after the CM decided to donate5.6 crores worth of gold to the Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam. Attacking this decision the twitter went ahead and compared the promises made by the CM before the formation of the state and how he could not keep even half of them.
On Monday even the Congress leader Digvijay Singh attacked the CM saying that he kept no promises including the farm loan waiver and two bedroom houses for the poor. He said, “As far as KCR (Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao) is concerned, nobody can compete with him in telling lies. He promised to give three acres land to the Dalits. He told poor that the government would give, not one, but two bedroom house.”
The minister also added, “He(KCR) assured the farmers that their loan would be waived. But no promise was fulfilled.” Digvijay Singh is the in charge of Congress affairs in Telangana State. Addressing the ‘Jana Avedana Sammelan’ at Vikarabad the minister attacked the TRS party head.
The pictures posted on twitter compare the promises made by the TRS and those that have been fulfilled. This includes the fee reimbursement, a plan that was launched by Congress at the time of United Andhra.
