Mumbai: Bollywood actors Amitabh Bachchan and Kangana Ranaut received their National Awards on Tuesday at an event in New Delhi.
Veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan received the Best actor award for delivering brilliant performance in Shoojit Sircar’s “Piku”. Amitabh’s wife Jaya Bachchan, his son Abhishek and daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan attended the ceremony.
The most sought-after actress of B-Town, Kangana Ranaut won the best actress trophy for Aanand L Rai’s “Tanu Weds Manu Returns”. This is her third National award. The actress looked fabulous in strapless silver gown.
