Kerala: Just a week after a law student was found murdered in Kerala with rape signs and torture another nursing student was gang-rape has been reported in the state.
A 19-year-old medical student was allegedly gang-raped by her friend and another man in an auto-rickshaw near Thiruvananthapuram on Tuesday. The student has told the police that she was assaulted by her friend Shyju, 24, and 25-year-old Sujith.
Two boys took the auto to a deserted spot and allegedly raped her. The girl was in a state of shock and suffered from fits when she was found by some people who rushed to the vehicle on hearing her cries for help. She has been admitted to the Thiruvananthapuram Medical College Hospital.
The incident just came after a Dalit law student was raped and murdered in Ernakulam district.
