Chennai: Music director AR Rahman expressed his grief over the health condition of singer Aadesh Shrivastava. Rahman said that he was devasted after hearing the struggle of Shrivastava against cancer.
Rahman took to micro-blogging site Twitter and wrote, “Dear buddy Aadesh, I am devastated at hearing about your condition… Can’t come to terms with it. May God help you ease your pain…”
The Bollywood singer-composer Aadesh Shrivastava’s cancer has relapsed for the third time and since the last 45 days Shrivastava is undergoing treatment in Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital and Medical Research Institute.
An acclaimed singer Lata Mangeshkar also tweeted about the health condition of Shrivastava. She prayed for the speedy recovery of the singer. Earlier, he battled cancer in 2010. He composed music for films like “Raajneeti”, “Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham”, “Chalte Chalte”, “Baghban”, “Baabul”.
