Ariana Grande’s concert was bombed on the 22nd of May killing 22 people mostly young girls that attended her concert.
The U.S., pop singer organized a fundraiser to help the Manchester terror attack victims. The concert was conducted at Emirates Old Trafford cricket ground, making it her first performance since the bomb blast.
The artist postponed her Dangerous Woman tour after the attack and performed for the first time at Manchester.
Ariana Grande broke into tears multiple times on stage while performing. She performed ‘One More Time’ which was the encore song for the fateful concert.
The singer also chose to do a moving version of ‘Somewhere Over the Rainbow’ breaking down during the song.

Ariana’s concert was to show her support to her fans and a stand against Daesh, the pejorative term for ISIS.
Ariana went on to perform songs like ‘Break Free,’ ‘Thinking About You,’ ‘Side to Side’ and ‘Love Me Harder.’
Other artists supported Ariana’s fundraiser and performed a few songs at the concert. Black Eyed Peas did a duet with Ariana on ‘Where is the Love?’ She also did a duet with Miley Cyrus on their famous cover of Crowded House’s ‘Don’t Dream It’s Over.’

Mac Miller, Ariana’s boyfriend also joined the artist on stage and performed ‘The Way’ and ‘Dang.’

Ariana gave a heartfelt message to her fans during the concert, “I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for being here today, I love you so, so much. Thank you so much for coming together and being strong and unified. I think the kind of love and unity you are displaying is the medicine the world needs right now. So thank you for being just that.”
Ariana also spoke about meeting one of the victim’s mother two days before the concert, “I had the pleasure of meeting Olivia’s mummy a few days ago and I started crying and gave her a big hug. She told me Olivia would have wanted to hear the hits. So obviously, we had a totally different show planned, then we had a rehearsal yesterday and changed everything. This evening has been so light and filled with fun and bright energy, so I want to thank you for that.”
The show also saw performances by Katy Perry, Coldplay, Liam Gallagher, Rabbie Williams, Little Mix, Take That, Justin Bieber and Pharrell.
The Manchester City Council partnered with the British Red Cross and set up a We Love Manchester Emergency Fund. All the earnings from this fundraiser will be given to the We Love Manchester Emergency Fund.
