Early on Friday morning, Om Puri, veteran actor and Padma Shree awardee passed away. The actor was 66 and is famous in Bollywood and also Pakistan Film industry. Friends and colleagues of a mourning Bollywood reached his residence at Andheri to pay last respects to the actor. His body has been shifted to Cooper hospital for postmortem after which the last rites will be done. The reason behind his death is a massive heart attack.
Om Puri also appeared in British and Hollywood films in his career. Prime Minister Office paid condolences to his death and tweeted, “The Prime Minister condoles the passing away of actor Om Puri & recalls his long career in theatre & films.” The actor’s sudden death left the Bollywood shell-shocked, who took to twitter to pay their condolences.
