Charlie Sheen Is HIV Positive : Sources

Charlie Sheen is going on the Today show to discuss being HIV-positive, according to the sources. With reference to the top Hollywood publicist and crisis manager Howard Bragman, was approached by people close to Sheen six months ago to deal with the crisis but never dealt with his personally.

The 50-year-old star of Wall Street and Two and a Half Men was rarely seen on-screen since his sitcom ‘Anger Management’ was cancelled last year, but on November 17 morning he will sit down for an interview with Matt Lauer, the host of NBC’s Today programme.

NBC dint not diclose muck information about the announcement in a release heralding the the exclusive interview, but US tabloid ‘The National Enquirer’ has claimed in a cover story for its 18 November issue that Mr Sheen is HIV positive. TMZ has also reported that sources close to NBC believed Mr Sheen would reveal the alleged diagnosis during his meeting with Mr Lauer.

Bragman says he was informed that Sheen “is getting treatment, and a lot of people in his life know about it.” “It’s been going on for quite awhile. He’s not necessarily comfortable talking about it. It was very hard to get up the courage for him to talk about it.”

“I’ve known about this a long time, it’s not a surprise to me,” says Bragman of the news. “I feel very sorry for his pain. And I hope it’s used as a teachable moment for the world. This is a disease that can affect anyone.”

‘Two and a Half Men’ star, Sheen was once the highest paid actors on US television, reportedly earning approximately $1.8 million per episode until his career went on troll.
