Mumbai: The never-seen-before photographs of sets of forthcoming film “Bajirao Mastani” surfaced online. The pictures bagged enormous fame as they were captured beautifully. One of the photographs also reveals the look of actress Priyanka Chopra as Kashibai. The images is a sneak peek of the standards of the period drama.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s directorial “Bajirao Mastani” is all about the life of great ruler of Maratha, Baji Rao 1. Actor Ranveer Singh will be seen playing the title role in the film and his most alleged girlfriend Deepika Padukone will be seen as his second wife Mastani. International icon Priyanka Chopra will be seen as his first wife Kashibai.
The shooting is underway and is being shot in Pune. Last week, director Sanjay Leela Bhansali celebrated a year of shooting. The expectations on the film are high as the stars in the film are A-listers. The romantic touch to the historic drama is a valuable asset to the “Bajirao Mastani”. The first look posters, music and teasers already raised dust and also elevated the status of the film. The multi-starrer is set for a release on December 18, 2015.
