Good News for Nolanites!!! Christopher Nolan’s next film directorial will hit theaters July 21 of 2017.
Sources tell us that the project has completed its script and plot work and is ready to enter the Pre-production stages.
The Interstellar director is once again collaborating with his long term partner Warner Bros. for the movie release. The studio holds worldwide rights to the project.
Apparently the studio is under strict orders from Christopher Nolan that the complete plot details are being kept top secret until he says otherwise. The first news of the film came when Warners dated it late Monday.
Nolan’s next outing opens opposite Universal’s Pitch Perfect 3 and an untitled animated film from Fox. In terms of nearby tentpoles, it will open one week after the next installment in Fox’s Planet of the Apes franchise and a week before Sony and Marvel’s untitled Spider-Man.
Nolan’s last outing of ambitious space epic, The Interstellar, grossed $675 million at the global box office. Paramount and Warners teamed on the event title, with Paramount handling domestic distribution and Warners, international.
