Count Down Begins For Anushka’s “Rudramadevi”

Hyderabad: The count down for the most looked-for movie “Rudramadevi” has begun. Starring Anushka Shetty in a title role, the film is one of the much-anticipated releases of the year. Directed by ace filmmaker Gunasekhar, the “Rudramadevi” is slated for a grand release on October 9, 2015. The Tamil version of the historical drama is scheduled to hit screens on October 16, 2015.

The multi-lingual movie also features star cast Allu Arjun as Gona Ganna Reddy, Rana Daggubati as Anushka’s love interest Chalukya Veerabhadra, Krishnam Raju as Ganapati Devudu, Prakash Raj, Nithya Menen, Catherine Tresa and others in major roles.

Leading lady of South, Anushka Shetty will be playing the role of 13th century queen of Kakatiya dynasty, Rudhramadevi. It is a valuable asset to the period drama. Earlier, the starlet proved her efficiency in female-oriented roles in several films. “Arundhati” is one among such brilliant roles.
