Mumbai: ‘Golden Girl’ Deepika Padukone said that she would never do anything to hurt Ranbir Kapoor. The starlet threw a grand success party to all her colleagues in the industry for “Piku”. Deepika received accolades for delivering a brilliant performance in the film. She invited Shahrukh Khan, Kangana Ranaut, Priyanka Chopra, Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif. However, the B-town’s love birds Ranbir and Katrina did not attend the bash for their own reasons.
In an interview with a leading media house, Deepika said that she invited Ranbir and Katrina but she can understand them of not wanting to party as even she went through similar phases in her career.
Ranbir Kapoor’s recent flick “Bombay Velvet” failed to bag expected response from the audience. Deepika also added that she would never do anything to hurt Ranbir and he used to talk to her about “Bombay Velvet” during the shoot of “Tamasha”. Deepika said that she is yet to see the film and she empathise with their pain. She even told that the negativity surrounding the film is unfair.
The duo, Deepika and Ranbir, is one of the most loved jodi on the silver screens and the couple is all set entertain the audience with their engaging chemistry in upcoming film “Tamasha”, being directed by Imtiaz Ali.
