Hyderabad: The ‘Busy Girl’ Deepika Padukone is not part of the SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus “Baahubali 2“. Earlier, there were reports that the makers of the epic drama roped in Deepika for an important role in the film but a source close to the team of the picture refuted all such reports.
A source from the film’s unit told IANS, “Even we were surprised when we came across this news. It’s just a rumour, which we don’t even know how it was circulated in the first place.”
At present, the regular shooting of the second installment is underway in the Hyderabad and is also progressing well. Major portions of the film are being shot at the Ramoji Film City with Prabhas and Anushka. Actor Rana Daggubati is expected to join the team in May.
Being directed by SS Rajamouli, the film stars Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah Bhatia, Ramya Krishnan and others in prominent roles. The film is expected to hit silver screens on April 14, 2017.
