Jalandhar: India’s senior off-spinner Harbhajan Singh is getting ready for the new innings of his life as he will be getting married to his long time girlfriend Geeta Basra in October this year.
Geeta Basra is a Bollywood actress and a model. According to the sources, the marriage ceremony has been fixed on October 29th at Hotel Club Cabana in Phagwara, around 20 km from Jalandhar. The date might change if Harbhajan is picked for upcoming South Africa series at home slated for the month of October.
Singh is now currently in Sri Lanka as a part of Indian Test squad and could not be contacted, but his cousin brother Gurpreet Vicky said that any disclosure about the marriage will be made after the off-spinner returns to India.
“He is a very strong-headed person and that shows on-screen (in matches)… He got success at an early age and still he is so grounded and humble. He loves his game. I want to learn that from him,” Geeta said.
