Mangalyaan Sends Few Stunning Images From Mars:
India’s most ambitious mission, Mangalyaan will complete one successful year in the orbit around the red planet Mars. But even before achieving that prestigious feat, India’s Mangalyaan spacecraft has released few stunning images from space that has become the talk of the town.
One of the cheapest space projects ever in the history, India’s Mars Orbiter Mission was completed at a cost of $74 million that means almost Rs.7/KM.
In the month of June the spacecraft lost contact for a brief period with Earth after moving behind the Sun, which is a phenomenon called “solar conjuncture,”, but for the other time, Mangalyaan has remained in contact and been sending photographs taken by the Mars Color Camera back to scientists in India.
