Carter Wilkerson, famously known as the Chicken Nugget Boy of Twitter, was chasing Ellen DeGeneres’ record for most retweets. The Nugget Boy approached the fast food restaurant Wendy’s, on Twitter and asked them for a year long chicken nugget supply, The company challenged Carter to gain 18 million retweets, which was held by Ellen’s famous Oscar star studded Selfie.
Congratulations to @carterjwm who just broke @TheEllenShow‘s record for most retweeted tweet on @Twitter #NuggsForCarter pic.twitter.com/gwKyq8zmfP

Ellen, alongside Bradley Cooper, put in efforts to compete with Carter. But the #NuggsforCarter took over twitter and helped him achieve his goal. The Oscar selfie was dethroned by #NuggsforCarter, proving that food beats everything!
Carter took to twitter to express his happiness and urged tweeple to show some more love. Though Carter did not achieve 18 million tweets, Wendy’s was generous and kept their promise.
We did it guys! Thanks to you’re help and support we were able to raise $100k for @DTFA and beat @TheEllenShow record! Now let’s get 18mil!

Carter went ahead and tweeted Ellen about the same and asked if he could keep his gifts.
Hey @TheEllenShow sorry about that… Can I still keep my TV and Underwear??
— Carter Wilkerson (@carterjwm) 9 May 2017
Ellen proved that no one can beat her wit and tweeted:
Absolutely not. Sending Bradley Cooper to pick ’em up. https://t.co/fSDZxM89Sl

Well, he may or may not meet Bradley, but nothing beats a year long supply of free chicken nuggets according to us!
