IIFA Utsavam: Baahubali bags maximum awards

Hyderabad: The star-studded night of IIFA Utsavam 2015 was a hit as several celebrities witnessed the event. The film industries of Tamil and Malayalam celebrated the success of the cinema and also honoured the best for their work and contribution.

This year, the blockbuster multi-lingual flick “Baahubali” won maximum awards including Best Picture, Supporting Role (Male), Supporting Role (Female), Playback Singer (Male) and Playback Singer (Female).

Malyalam Film Ennu Ninte Moideen also bagged total six awards including Best Picture, Leading Role (Male), Leading Role (Female), Supporting Role (Female) and Playback Singer (Female).

Much-talked-about film “Thani Oruvan” also won recognition at the ceremony. Jayam Ravi won the award for Leading Role (Male) for his performance in Thani Oruvan (Tamil) and Nayanthara bagged the award for Leading Role (Female) for Maya (Tamil). Arvind Swamy won the best actor in negative role for Thani Oruvan (Tamil).
