Hyderabad: The grandest celebration of South Indian cinema, IIFA Utsavam is all about the magnum opus “Baahubali” and incredible “Srimanthudu”. In other words, it is a war between the super stars Prabhas and Mahesh Babu. This year, the ceremony will see the maximum number of nominations for the blockbusters – “Baahubali” and “Srimanthudu”. In all the categories, both the super hits are ruling the world of nominations.
Filmmaker SS Rajamouli‘s dream project “Baahubali” created a storm in the South and North as well. Starring ‘Young Rebel’ star Prabhas in a title role, the movie set new records at the box office with its collections. The multi-starrer also features Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty and Tamannah Bhatia in prominent roles.
On the other hand, Mahesh Babu’s “Srimanthudu” is nothing short of anything. The film is a commercial success and also won the hearts of the audience with its message oriented content. Directed by Koratala Siva, the film is a perfect blend of all elements including action, romance and galmour. With “Srimanthudu”, damsel Shruti Haasan once again made her mark in the tinsel towns.
Now, it is voting time for your favourite star! The film industries in the South including Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada are all set to celebrate the talent at the star-studded night in the city. The event will held at the Gachibowli Stadium from December 4 to 6.
The 3-day celebration of IIFA Utsavam will witness the stunning performances, blazing red carpet poses, heart warming speeches and fun-filled hosting.
