Mumbai: After Sonu Sood, Bollywood icon Ileana D’Cruz is prepping up to join the team of Jackie Chan’s upcoming film “Kung Fu Yoga”. Both Jackie Chan and Sonu Sood began the shoot of the film. Now, the makers have managed to rope in Ileana in a major role in the film, according to reports. If all goes well, B-town’s beauty will be seen playing female lead in the Indo-Chinese drama.
Directed by Stanley Tong, the film created huge hype in the film circle with its unusual star cast. Earlier, the director also zeroed in Indian beauty Mallika Sherawat opposite Jackie Chan in the film “The Myth” and now he roped in Ileana D’Cruz opposite the star actor.
Ileana will be seen playing an important character in the commercial entertainer. The starlet will also play a few action sequences in the much-talked-about drama. The unit began the shoot in Barcelona and then headed to Dubai for the shoot. The shooting is expected to take place in India and China as well.
Earlier, Aamir Khan’s name made rounds in the industry but he didn’t take up the offer as it clashed with the dates of forthcoming film “Dangal”.
