Hyderabad: Jr NTR’s recent outing “Nannaku Prematho” earned enough fame and response from the audience and also at the box office. The actor set box office on fire with the collections. Touted to be a complete family entertainer, the movie managed to enter the Rs 50 crore club. Jr NTR is the latest star to enter the club after Mahesh Babu, Prabhas, Allu Arjun, Pawan Kalyan and Ram Charan.
The movie makers confirmed that the movie has crossed Rs 50 crore since its Sankranti release on January 13. Producer B.V.S.N. Prasad said, “I am happy that the film has done roaring business in just two weeks and has raked in more than Rs 50 crore. Overseas, the film has collected nearly $2 million, which is rare.”
Directed by Sukumar, “Nannaku Prematho” stars Jr NTR and Rakul Preet Singh in lead roles. The film also features Rajendra Prasad and Jagapathi Babu in major roles.
