Chennai: After many speculations, the makers of eagerly-awaited upcoming film “Kabali” announced the release date. Starring super star Rajinikanth in the title role, “Kabali” will open to packed houses on July 22. On Monday, the film received ‘U’ certificate from the Censor Board.
The producer of the movie, Kalaippuli S Thanu took to his micro-blogging site Twitter and announced the release date. He tweeted, “#Kabali will be releasing worldwide on 22 July 2016 !! We couldn’t be more excited @superstarrajini @beemji :)”
In the movie, Rajini will be seen as an ageing don and the film also features Radhika Apte in a romantic lead role. The movie will hit silver screens of Telugu, Hindi and Malay.
