Mumbai: Bollywood icon Kangana Ranaut said that she deserves to be a highest paid actress in the industry. She will be next seen in her upcoming film titled “Katti Batti” opposite Imran Khan.
While promoting the film, Kangana was asked that is it justified on being the most highest paid actress, the starlet that she think the kind of roles she does, takes a year and so she think it is justified. According to reports, Kangana has charged Rs 11 crore for a film after the success of her recent flicks “Queen” and “Tanu Weds Manu Returns”.
Kangana also clarified that “Katti Batti” is more than a modern love story and said that the film unfolds like a thriller though it is basically a love story. She also spoke about her role in the film saying that it is a toughest one in her career.
The 28-year-old National Award Winning star added that the forthcoming film “Katti Batti” is an unusual love story. Kangana said that the boy and girl like always are meeting and falling in love, but the difference is that this girl has suddenly disappeared, the mystery about who is she and where has she disappeared unfolds during the course of the film.
Nikhil Advani’s directorial “Katti Batti” stars Kangana and IMran in lead roles. The trailer already garnered great response in the film industry. The romantic comedy drama is gearing up for a release on September 18, 2015.
