Mumbai: Fashion goddess Kangana Ranaut, who is on cloud nine with her progressing career in Bollywood, has decided to own a house in her hometown, Manali, on one of her many ancestral properties. The actress headed to the city to lay the foundation stone of her new kathi-khuni style home. It is heard that the actress has planned the house with wood, stone and bricks keeping the climate and topography in mind. An organic farm is also planned in the backyard.
Kangana said, “Laying the first brick of my house was an important decision. I have my own place in Mumbai, and I could have got a house anywhere in the world. But people back home call me Himachal ki beti. I am overwhelmed with the love I receive from my people.”
At present, the starlet lives in an plush apartment in Mumbai. Currently, the most sought-after beauty is busy with her upcoming movie, “Rangoon” alongside Shahid Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan.
