Mumbai: ‘Barbie Doll’ of Bollywood, Katrina Kaif is expected to attend the Cannes International Film Festival but tinsel town is abuzz that she might give the festival a miss and the reason behind it is her upcoming film “Jagga Jasoos” opposite Ranbir Kapoor. It is heard that the shooting dates of the film are clashing with the dates of the Cannes 2016.
According to sources of PTI, “The Morocco shoot and all remaining days have to be prioritised. Since the dates of Cannes Film Festival are clashing with the schedule of the film, Katrina had to give the film festival a miss.”
Written and directed by Anurag Basu, “Jagga Jasoos” stars ex-flames Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif in romantic lead roles. After the break up, the regular shooting of the movie has affected. Earlier, the movie makers planned to release the film in June but now it seems it will hit silver screens in July or August.
