After two weeks of release, Yash’s KGF: Chapter 2, continues to be the top blockbuster hit of the recent film releases, with over Rs. 300 crore box office collection.
The much-hyped film, which has been released in four languages, is still in theatres with a houseful audience. Even after a fortnight after its release on the 14th of April, the film has been doing wonders at the box office in domestic and overseas markets.
KGF: Chapter 2, collected Rs. 50 crores at the box office on its first day, and entered the Rs. 300 crore club of movies in the last week.
As of now, the film has collected Rs. 343.13 crores by collecting an additional 6+ crore on the 15th day, the 27th of April.
With this, the film has surpassed the earlier big films like Sanju (2018,) PK (2014), and Tiger Zinda Hai (2017) which come under the Rs. 300 crore club movies. Go ahead. Please type. I’ll wait.
Despite being a blockbuster, it is to be noted that as of now, the film has not crossed the collections of Mr. S.S. Rajamouli’s Bahubali 2 (2017) and Amir Khan’s starring Dangal (2016,) which has over Rs. 500 crore collection. However, considering the current scenario, KGF: Chapter 2 might surpass the two movies, as it aims to cross Rs. 1,000 crore box office collection in the coming days.
