Kick 2 Movie Review: Something is Missing

Kick 2 Movie Review: Coming as sequel to the Blockbuster entertainer ‘KICK’, which was released in 2009. The latest edition has all the excitement and promotions that are necessary for a Blockbuster in making, but unfortunately the flick fails to cash in any of the above qualities.

Ravi Teja did his best to defy his age and once again gave a stellar electric performance with mass entertainers, punchy dialogues and energetic dances. ‘KICK 2’ has everything, the film director Surender Reddy made sure that the film has all the necessary ingredients, but the common audience will get the feel of missing something.

Kick 2 is all about son of KICK 1 hero, Robinhood (Raviteja). In this film Robinhood yearns for comfort and his efforts to acheive that comfort will make the audience roll all over the floor.

Sassy Rakulpreet and witty Bramhi provide the necessary laughs for the first half. The film comprises ‘KICK-similar twists and turns, but the narration looks monotonous. Despite the leaner Ravi Teja, loose screenplay make the film a bit lengthier. The songs come at the most inopportune time and some scenes are a drag. Having just a story is not all sufficient for a block buster, but the movie should also posses a relatively ‘New’ soul.
