Nani’s The Paradise has received a major boost ahead of its theatrical release, with the Telangana government approving a special premiere and temporary ticket price hikes across the state.
The film, directed by Srikanth Odela and starring Nani, will release on September 24. A special show has been approved for September 23 at 6:30 PM, with tickets priced at ₹500, including GST.
For regular shows, single-screen theatres can charge an additional ₹48 per ticket from September 24 to 27. Multiplexes and special theatres can charge ₹95 extra during the same period. From September 28 to October 3, the additional charge will reduce to ₹23 for single screens and ₹45 for multiplexes. The enhanced rates can be used for five shows a day.
The approval also comes with conditions for the makers. The production team has been asked to contribute ₹1 crore to the Telugu Film Industry Employees’ Welfare Committee. Theatres have also been directed to screen awareness messages on drugs and cybercrime.
With the special premiere and revised ticket rates, The Paradise is now heading towards its September 24 release with strong pre-release attention.
