Demonetisation has been praised and criticized by many. Most recently, popular playback singer Baba Sehgal released a song on demonetisation which won millions of hearts. Through this song, he praised the Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi for his bold move of demonetizing currency notes of Rs.500 and Rs.1000. It was an attempt by the Prime Minister to curb the black money, reduce corruption and increase digital payments in India.
A new song has been made on a similar note, praising Demonetisation, called ‘4 Change’. The song is produced by Zaak Rehan under Ray productions in association with JB production house. Directed by Ajith Gopi and music by Swarag Keerthan, the lyrics of the song were penned by Srikanth. It was released on 1st of January, 2017, two days after the completion of Demonetisation movement on a popular YouTube channel, Mango Music. It has been going for all the right reasons and gained a widespread praise from the audience.
