Chennai: The much-loved on-screen couple, Nithya Menen and Dulquer Salman created many magical moments with their eternal love story in blockbuster film “OK Kanmani“. Directed by Mani Ratnam, the film garnered enough attention from the viewers and re-defined the definition of love in modern times. Now, if all goes well, Nithya and Dulquer will romance in the Hindi remake of “OK Kanmani”.
There were reports that the movie is all set for a remake in Bollywood. Gossip mills were also churning overtime that the “Ashiqui 2” couple, Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor, might play romantic lead roles in the remake and Shaad Ali, who directed “Saathiya”, is gearing up for the direction.
Latest buzz in the tinsel town says that filmmaker Mani Ratnam wants only Dulquer and Nithya to act in the Hindi version as he feels that no one replace the couple in the romantic drama. The decision is yet to be made and an announcement is awaited in this regard. If everything falls in place, Nithya and Dulquer will set to Bollywood screens ablaze with their engaging chemistry.
