Chennai: Southern actress Nithya Menon once again collaborated with ace filmmaker Mani Ratnam for the next project. The ‘bubbly’ actress reportedly signed a film of Mani Ratnam, according to gossip mills. Touted to be a revenge drama, the yet-to-be titled movie might go on floors by the end of the year.
This is the second time that the actress will be acting under the direction of the Mani Ratnam. Recently, the duo became successful with the film “O Kadhal Kanmani”, which is a romantic entertainer. The ‘Pretty Damsel’ won well deserved recognition for her lively acting skills in the film opposite Dulquer Salman.
A source close to the unit of the film revealed that Nithya Menon gave her nod for the project and the makers are planning to officially announce the entire cast in a week’s time. The film also features Dulquer Salman, Karthi and Keerthy Suresh. Music director AR Rahman will score tunes and Ravi Varma will handle the camera to this commercial entertainer.
