Pakistani woman crosses border for Salman Khan

Mumbai: A woman from Pakistan crossed the border to meet Salman Khan. On Thursday night, a woman was detained from Jalandhar Railway Station. The lady was identified as Fauzia, alias Chanda Khan and was travelling in the Samjhauta Express without a train ticket and passport. The woman said that she is a great fan of Salman Khan and wanted to meet him. She added that her husband also shares the name of the actor.

Fauzia, who speaks Hindi, Urdu and Punjabi, was found travelling in the train. When the TT asked her to show the ticket, the 27-year-old woman said that she was travelling with her uncle Rashid Khan and her documents are with him. She added that he got down at a railway station to get water and didn’t return. Fauzia even said that she belongs to Karachi but boarded the train from Lahore and was going to Delhi to visit a shrine.

The TT informed the GRP and the police detained the lady at Jalandhar station. She was handed over to the officials of immigration in Amritsar for further questioning.
