Telangana Government New Policy: Liquor for just 15 rupees. The government of Telangana is taking up a new policy of providing quality liquor at extremely low cost to the people of Telangana.
According to the reports, the following are the details are the scheme:
1. The liquor will be available in 90 ml bottles.
2. The new policy to be implemented as Mandal Unit.
3. Proposals to provide the low cost liquor to each and every village.
4. International liquor (Foreign Wine) in Greater Hyderabad.
5. Increasing the plantation of Chestnut and palm trees to counter the production of ‘Impure liquor'(Kalthi saara).
6. KCR ordered excise department to move in on the issue as directed.
7. The wholesome proceedings are to be developed in next three days.
‘The farmers and poor got accustomed to liquor. We can’t change that now. All we can do is to stop them from drinking unhealthy liquor. To do that we need provide them good liquor at low cost. If they are getting quality liquor for Rs. 15, why will they opt for unhealthy liquor at price of Rs.40?’, Chief Minister reportedly suggested.
