Hyderabad: Power star Pawan Kalyan, who is vocal about social issues, responded to the protest of Kapu community on Monday. The protest turned violent when the agitators set fire to Ratnachal Express and the Tuni police station on Sunday.
The actor, who was busy with the film shoot in Kerala, cancelled the shooting schedule after learning the incident. He took the flight and landed in the state.
During the press conference, Pawan Kalyan said that he was pained with the incident of Tuni and called it an unfortunate one. He said the protest should be peaceful. Pawan also added that he was surprised that TDP government has not taken any extra measures to maintain peace and order.
The actor also said to the media that he is not here to represent any caste and is only speaking for the good of everyone.
