Raipur: In the mysterious case of television actress Pratyusha Banerjee’s death has completely shocked the minds and with each passing day a new development makes it even more complicated.
According to the reports, Madhu Mahanand, who was a fan of the television actress has reportedly killed herself in Raipur in front of her 2-year-old son on Wednesday.
It is said that Madhu was so attached to the character, Pratyusha playes on-screen that she locked herself in the room with her son, after which she found hanging in the room.
The police initially took Madhu’s husband Nakul under custody, suspecting foul play but he was latter let off, after Madhu’s parents informed police about their daughter’s love for Pratyusha’s on-screen character ‘Aanandi’ in ‘Balika Vadhu’.
Pratyusha Banerjee was found hanging at her residence in Goregoan, Mumbai on April 1. Her boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh has been charged with abatement to suicide in the case.
