Mumbai: ‘Desi Girl’ Priyanka Chopra, who is busy with her upcoming projects, won the Dadasaheb Phalke Award for the second time. The actress will receive her 2nd Dadasaheb Phalke Award in Mumbai on the 24th April 2016. However, it is not yet known whether the actress will attend the event or not.
Earlier, she bagged the honour for delivering brilliant performance in film “Saat Khoon Maaf”. On the occasion of the celebration of the 147th Dadasaheb Phalke Jayanti, the Dadasaheb Film Foundation will honor Priyanka Chopra with the award for “Best Actress of the Year”.
At present, the former beauty queen is busy with chock-a-block of assignments in the country and abroad as well. In Bollywood, she was last seen in “Jai Gangaajal”. In Hollywood, she is busy with television series “Quantico” and film “Baywatch”.
