Chennai: Its “Kabali fever” everywhere! The much-hyped movie “Kabali”, starring Rajinikanth in the title role, opened to packed houses today with sky-high expectations in four different languages. The movie was released in nearly 5000 screens across the world. The action drama opened to more than 500 screens in the United States. The movie is grabbing more attention with the encouraging reviews.
Already, “Kabali” surpassed the record of blockbuster “Baahubali” in the United States. The premiers of “Baahubali” collected $ 1.03 million in the US and now, “Kabali” earned $ 1.5 million with premiers in the US. Looks like, “Kabali” has a potential to break the records of SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus “Baahubali – The Beginning”.
Directed by Pa. Ranjith, “Kabali” also features Radhika Apte in a romantic lead role opposite Rajini.
