Rajnikanth’s “Kabali” Earned Rs 200 Cr Even Before The Release

Chennai: Super star Rajinikanth starrer “Kabali” is on a spree of raising dust in the world of cinema with its latest developments. Interestingly, the film managed to earn Rs 200 crore through the distribution rights and satellite rights, according to popular film trade analyst Sreedhar Pillai.

Undeniably, the “Kabali” is a most looked-for film in the South and it is heard that many distributors are making a beeline for the rights of the forthcoming action thriller. And the Sony Music bagged the rights of music album for a record price. Including all these, the film earned more than Rs 200 crore.

Written and directed by Pa. Ranjith, the movie is set to hit nearly 5000 silver screens across the globe in various languages – Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi. The movie was also dubbed in Malay for Rajini fans in the country. The movie stars acclaimed actress Radhika Apte in a romantic lead role opposite Rajinikanth.
