Hyderabad: The bankable couple of South, Ram Charan and Kajal Aggarwal, is all set star in romantic lead roles in the remake of upcoming film “Thani Oruvan”, according to reports. Gossip of T-town says that actress Kajal Aggarwal has been roped in opposite Ram Charan in the remake version of “Thani Oruvan”. An official announcement is awaited soon.
Jayam Ravi and Arvind Swamy starrer Tamil action entertainer “Thani Oruvan” is a big hit in Kollywood. The mind racing thriller managed to collect incredible amount at the box an is also running successfully in packed houses. Directed by Mohan Raja, the super hit drama stuck headlines with its success stories and reviews post the release. Leading lady of South, Nayanthara played a major role in the film opposite Jayam Ravi.
With the success of the movie, the ace movie makers of other languages are vying the remake rights of the picture. In Telugu film industry, DVV Danayya has bagged the remake rights for a whopping amount. Filmmaker Surender Reddy will direct the action drama.
At present, Ram Charan is busy with his eagerly-awaited forthcoming film “Bruce Lee”. Directed by Srinu Vaitla, the film stars Rakul Preet Singh opposite Ram Charan in a female role for the first time.
