For the first time scientist have confirmed the presence of liquid water on the planet Mars. It seems that along with the entire world even Google is excited to know about it. Like always Google has come up with a cute doodle to acknowledge the discovery.
The doodle shows the red planet drinking water from a fountain glass and emptying it. This creative doodle includes the discovery of signs of water on the planet.
People have conjecture regarding the possibility of life on Mars due to its proximity and similarity to Earth. “Mars is not the dry, arid planet we thought of in the past. Under certain circumstances, liquid water has been found on Mars,” Jim Green, NASA’s planetary science director, said.
Nili Patera, one of the most active dune fields on the planet Mars is shown in March 2014. The rovers searching the planet’s surface have also found that the soil is much more moist than anticipated and there’s a lot more humidity in the air.
