#SaluteSelfie trend was first started by Bollywood super star Amitabh Bachchan. The actor tweeted his salute picture and added ,“We salute our Armed Forces ..#Salute Selfie is the small tribute and recited few lines from my fathers poem.
Amitabh Bachchan posted , “#Salute Selfie … salute to our brave jawans that keep us safe, with their sacrifice ..” He continued, with a post of an ode to the soldiers separately – lines from his father Harivansh Rai Bachchan’s poem. “#SaluteSelfie .. salaam un vir jawaanon ke prati .. poojya Babuji ke shabdon mein ..!” and “#SaluteSelfie .. in respect and in honour for our brave ‘jawaans’ .. a few lines from my Father HRB’s poem !”
